   Support DMPK in vitro and/or in vivo assays including assay design, biosample analysis, method development and validation and report for various compounds and components in compliance with appropriate SOPs and regulatory agency guidelines.

Essential Job Duties:
Support in setting up, validating, and conducting DMPK in vitro assays from protocol design, experiment, and report.
Support in conducting and coordinating DMPK in vivo projects from protocol design, experiment, and report.
Set up and performs method development and validation of various analytes in a variety of matrices with supervision.

Laboratory Pre-Analytical Services
a) Ensure proper temperature of specimens are maintained
b) Ensure timely processing of kits and requisitions
c) Ensure all testing requested is ordered
d) Ensure timely delivery of specimens to the Laboratory
e) Ensure timely communication with departments/clients concerning processing problems
f) Ensure sufficient documentation of all processes

Specimen Management
a) Ensure that specimens are picked up from Laboratory Pre-Analytical Services, sorted and pre-scanned into the appropriate temperature bins in a timely fashion.
b) Responsible for registration and processing of specimens into correct storage temperature
c) Generation and application of specialized labels to include mini labels and computer generated bar codes.
d) Process, register, package and ship samples requiring special handling
e) Research and resolution of problem samples and correct routing of these specimens maintaining documentation during the process.
f) Accountable for accurately identifying specimens that need to be discarded and completing the discard process
g) Perform domestic and/or in-house shipping procedures.
h) Maintain inventory records for items used in daily workflow.
i) Consolidate and move drawers as specified to effectively utilize freezer space.

Animal Tech Trainee

Learn to provide general animal facility maintenance and cleanliness and to dispense animal diets in compliance with appropriate SOPs, GLPs, and regulatory agency guidelines. To monitor animal health and welfare in compliance with the Animal Welfare Act and help maintain facilities for AAALAC compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The scope of this position is within one facility to support Animal Operations across multiple studies daily.
Learns to clean feeders, water bottles, animal caging, and other items. Clean and sanitize animal rooms or pens, hallways, stairways, and other non-animal areas.
Learns to collect and record applicable hand recorded and computer generated data.
Learns to operate and perform quality control checks on appropriate equipment.
